For four generations, Miller Brothers Farm has been raising black Angus cattle, corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, and hay on the farm in Oakland, Illinois. We strive to implement sustainable farming methods throughout our operation. We have been no-till farming since 1998, which reduces wind erosion, water erosion, and topsoil run-off in our fields. In addition, we also plant cover crops to suppress weeds, control pests and diseases, grow organic matter, and put nutrients back into the soil. We make it our goal to be both economically and ecologically sustainable.
We take pride in providing our customers with locally raised beef that is free of antibiotics, steroids, artificial hormones, dyes, and preservatives. Because of our rotational grazing strategy, our cattle spend their days roaming through ample pastures and grazing on grass.
In July of 2020, we opened our online nationwide shipping business for the first time. We are proud to be able to ship our locally raised all natural black Angus beef anywhere in the continental U.S.
At Miller Brothers Farm, we believe that environmentally sound practices will allow us to produce pure, nutritious food for many generations to come. When you buy from Miller Brothers Farm, you can be confident that the beef you purchase is nature’s purest protein.
